Toronto International Film Festival
TIFF is one of the world's largest premier movie festivals. Watch hundreds of films from dozens of countries for a limited time. You could spot your favourite Hollywood celebrities including Lady Gaga, Julia Roberts, and Ryan Gosling.
Taste of the Danforth
Toronto is home to the 3rd largest Greek community. This annual celebration of Greek cultural heritage (and Canada's multiculturalism) includes Cuban bands, Indigenous singers, and Bollywood dancers. Food served by street vendors and local restaurants are affordable and will make you feel like you are in Greece.
Toronto Oktoberfest is as authentic a celebration of German beer and food you can get outside Germany. There are kegs, live bands, schnitzel, and sausage!
